The point of the article was that you could do this on any day, not just when the planets or whatever align.
I grabbed the angled broom from my closet about 15 minutes ago, didnt try to balance it, simply let go, and bingo…standing on its own. It’s called PHYSICS & center of gravity. However, we were wrong, and it does make you wonder, doesn’t it?It’s true. Or is it only in Spring? Objects don’t look for balance, but energy does! This particular broom is the one we have been sweeping the kitchen with for a few years now. If I could upload a pic of it -I would.Mine is the same. It has been standing on its own in my kitchen for almost 48 hours. It works with angled brooms, I tried it with a couple of different brooms one without alot of angle and used alot and one very angled and not used alot worked with both.I call bullshit on this article. Being heavy set, when I walk in the kitchen it makes the fridge rattle and the broom still didn’t fall down. We have since investigated and found that is a lot easier than we first thought. According to the posts, NASA revealed that everyone around the world could make the 'standing broom' trick since the planet Earth was said to be 'in perfect balance"-- making the brush possible to stand up on its own. Get your own facebook and your own weird friends that have nothing better to do all night that walk around their freaky brooms!! I am sending this with the use of military spec cleanser which washes each letter clean of traces of identifiable information. Most definitely!I couldn’t get my bristled broom to do it but I had no problem getting my old straw broom to do it. A friend of mine posted brooms, mops, and golf clubs! The deception comes in the creation of the illusion that the brooms are doing this all by themselves. I think I will leave it there to freak the kids out.I was shown this aswell as the egg balancing by my uncle and told it was a leap year thing and was due to the summer equinox (was back in march of this year) Since then i’ve been standing up brooms of all shapes, angles and wear conditions, almost EVERY broom out there will stand on it’s own given some patience and carefull technique of getting the bristles in position.hEre’s one i did today at a friends house to spook him a little.. (acted like i just found it that way at first LOL)DO i still get a book being that it’s already almost May 2012? I don’t see you thinking this is a Muslim sight? It stood there until the dog accidentally knocked it over. Following the announcement of Biden's 2020 running mate choice, critics seized on a past exchange between him and the U.S. senator. This material may not be reproduced without permission.Snopes and the Snopes.com logo are registered service marks of Snopes.com How does a stick stand during a lunar eclipse? Then I tried the other broom with the worn out bristles and it didn’t stand. One of them was an angled broom and one of them was a well-used old broom with straw bristles nowhere near “good condition.” I’m not saying that this means it’s a natural phenomenon, I’m just saying that this article was based off little, if any, actual research. Also, a very strange occurrence I noticed while trying to stand up a brand new broom: it actually fell west even though it was leaning east. I have stood up several brooms now. I have also noticed that my compasses are off lately as well. If only it would sweep on it’s own—-It’s not always easy, but I bet you can do it. Nothing is holing it up either! And it’s a fearful thing to be delivered into the hand of the one and only God. Coincidence? i have one and with a few tries i made it stand faceing all directions and to top that off my floor slants to the south. Handle tilting way out, and it clearly should have fallen over, but it didn’t. The brooms will stand due to what's known as load displacement. Weird looking…yep, my broom is angled as well & standing on it’s own!We have a used broom, so worn out only about half the bristles are on the floor yet it stands alone and it’s a leaner! Now I tried it 2 days later and can’t get it to stand for the life of me.I used a broom today that was like 2 years old, in really bad condition, and the shape of theBrooms are not human! The comments here are way better than the article itself, thanks for the laughs! If you ask me, the only thing proven by this article and peoples comments is what a complete failure the American educational system has become. We did too.
I have a picture.
I would be more than happy to give you any information I can to further your knowledge. This isn't the first time L.O.L.
All of them stood worn out, angled, ones with handles off center, etc. That makes it a low center of gravity. I’m going to try it on & for a year and I’ll get back to ya!I do believe this is a Christian sight that sounds to me that they don’t believe in anything other than a simple explanation….if God didn’t do it than it’s not possible!Hello, he wasn’t implying that the broom was cognitively seeking something, but rather it was falling towards its center of gravity.
but what got me was…i stood an EGG up on its end, right next to the broom. Can a broom stand on its own? Ok sooo I agree with whoever made this page. the base is big enough to balance the broom. Makes you think……That’s exactly the “common sense” we employed when writing the original article.
