I don't think you can use junction 7 (thame) to get onto the M40 and travel west, there is a slip road, but I believe that it has been closed off, for some reason, does anyone know why this sliproad is closed. Today two motorways cross the Severn near Chepstow. Access is limited allowing exit for only northbound traffic and entry only for southbound traffic.
