Though I'm not a fan of Lifetime movies, I saw this on the TV Guide and thought I would watch it.

Well for one, I'm HIV positive and I wanted to see how this movie was done. The statistics today is increasing and it seems that many people aren't educating them self nor the youth enough. So this film, "Girl, Positive," have definitely it home with me. Implored by her substitute teacher Sarah (Jennie Garth) to get tested, Rachel remains paralyzed with fear until she discovers that Sarah has been living with HIV for nearly a decade. You think your life is over. Though this movie is a bit hokey at times, (yes I used the word hokey), I think it did a good job of getting the point across.
