The boys should be competitive against Nudgee next week.In weather conditions much different to last time an U15 team played at Downlands, the boys provided a very entertaining game of Rugby. After a spirited try by Danny Neal (who unfortunately leaves TSS this week to move to the UK), and then another by new student Andrew Hobart, saw TSS in a position they hadn’t been in all year… in front.The match then was see-sawing with penalties and handling mistakes dominating what seemed to be an even match. The 16B team only lost to Toowoomba Grammar during a very successful season.

TSS eventually scored five tries to two in an entertaining game by the boys. CENTRE. Shortly after, good defensive pressure forced a loose pass which Noah Scallan pounced on to race 25m to score in the corner. Coach Angus Blake was very pleased with the boys particularly their enthusiasm for the game and enjoyment of it. Tries were scored by Jed Wilson, Henry Morris and Sebastian Geenup. This team must be congratulated on their ability to field a side each week, as player numbers were low for the age group. By then a slick Churchie backline had set up a comprehensive win.
