I never take home my entree but I couldn’t finish the pan seared rib eye steak and horseradish mash potatoes! The cocktails are great, the octopus appetizer and the mushroom risotto were fantastic. I'm a chef and a very picky one,  every time I come to Heirloom Tavern they leave me wordless !! Definitely try this placeThis is my second time here ! The one complaint I have was the Spring Sangria has a tad bit too much of bitters in it. But it's one of the few places that doesn't offer an obscenely over-priced menu for Valentine's Day, so we were happy with it.The service was great ! We did not have dessert. I would definitely return for this meal! Alas, the experience for me was subpar at best. I'm sooooo glad we went here. My mom picked this place tonight for her birthday dinner. Glen Head has recently acquired a feverishly hot new dining spot.

They had many options, but we came for late lunch so stuck with the quick foods.This is a terrific place. Came to Heirloom Tavern for Long Island Restaurant Week. We went early on a Saturday, which proved wise, as the place filled up quickly during our meal. The portion sizes here are very large and every dish is delicious!
