Designed with a simple silhouette in sumptuous Italian Leather this tote is just right for both work or weekend endeavors.
The exterior of the Cuyana Classic Structured Leather Tote Bag is an Italian pebbled leather, which feels very smooth to the touch, and is deceptively hard-wearing. Hi there! Review: Cuyana Classic Leather Tote Posted on February 26, 2016January 23, 2017by BAG WATCH I thought I’d start off BAG WATCH with a recent purchase.
Hi Bex, thank you so much for sharing your experience.

The only color transfer I’ve seen so far was from a dyed indigo folder that I kept inside my bag and that was pretty easy to remove off the interior pocket with a wet wipe. I haven’t seen any color transfer on my tote so far – but as a disclaimer, the only dark articles of clothing I tend to wear are leggings or dresses. This double-face construction reinforces an elegant shape, finished with hand-applied edge paint and subtly contrasting lining. I don't think Cuyana overpriced themselves on this one. You shouldn’t get stains that hold if you set it on the ground. and the solid gold lettering of the Cuyana name.

The Cuyana Classic Leather Tote measures 13(h) x 18(L) x 5(w) inches with a 9 inch strap drop. However, this didn’t leave a permanent dent or mark in the leather, which relieved my concerns. I just wish it came in pebbled leather version so it’s more scratch proof. Although I typically try to push myself to diversify my collection, I somehow always find myself gravitating towards totes. Timeless silhouettes for endless use. I got the Madewell tote in this similar grey color and I’ve noticed that it picks up dye from my jeans and dark clothing, leaving the sides of the bag that hit my hips with slight blue/black stains Hi! The same gold stamping process was used on the exterior for my personalized initials on the front of the bag – a wonderful little extra add-on for $10! Created with Sketch. To my surprise and relief, this light grey leather saw no stains or indentions of any kind. As of right now, I already have three totes (of varying materials, sizes, and colors) but when my friend raved to me about this wonderfully smooshy tote, I stalked the Cuyana website for hours and imagined myself with each color. The Cuyana Classic Leather Tote is an unstructured, floppy bag made primarily for functionality – which makes sense since their motto is “fewer, better things”. I have taken the Classic Overnight Bag on lots of trips over the past few months, and I am always reminded of how practical it is. thanks!Hi! How is your bag holding up now (with laptop, chargers, tablets, etc)? The silhouette of our Classic Leather Tote is an evolution of essentialism. The first step to a long lasting wardrobe is to be intentional with how you care for your items. I think if it had feet that would change the overall structure and look (as it’s a slightly slouchier style despite the name), and perhaps make it heavier to carry. I hope that make sense. I’m 5’4 and on the skinny side. And in terms of lasting power, I think the fine construction of this bag will extend its lifeline by many years (even with my accidental mishandlings). I do think if you want a bit of additional structure, it’s worth investing in Do you wish it had feet at the bottom? All of the items in your order must be available in the store of your choice in order to qualify for pickup.

However I did wear a brand new pair of dark jeans and some of that ink did rub off. I hope that helps! Thanks for your review! Only slight staining on the leather because it rained and I was wearing jeans once and the dye rubbed off Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:I thought I’d start off BAG WATCH with a recent purchase. That particular leather is a bit more floppy so I’d suggest getting a organiser to go inside if you wanted it to have more structure xxI’ve been toting (haha) this to work and have sadly decided to sell both my black and stone totes. But it was decently easy to remove once I saw that there were blue streaks on the interior. The Structured Leather Tote rings in at $195, which honestly feels about right to me for a premium leather bag. BEST CUYANA BAGS: TALL STRUCTURED LEATHER TOTE. ... BEST CUYANA BAGS: CLASSIC OVERNIGHT BAG. Created with Sketch. Time Owned: One year, two months What I Like the Most: I love the slouchyness of the Cuyana Tall Tote, and the impervious pebbled leather. While this makes it super easy to fold up flat and pack, it also leaves the bag without any internal support.
